The Second City

Located in the heart of Toronto’s Entertainment District, The Second City is the leader in improv and sketch comedy. This cutting-edge comedy troupe has produced generations of talent, including such comic luminaries as Mike Myers, John Candy, Eugene Levy, and Martin Short. Every night the company finishes with a free on-the-spot improv set open to the public.

Opening August 2008: Barack to the Future
Get set for Toronto’s funniest night out during a performance of Barack to the Future, an unstoppable, high-energy boost that pokes fun at pop culture, politics, relationships, and anything that dares take itself too seriously. Overbearing bosses, culture snobs, and even the raccoons in your garbage make an appearance on stage through the hilarious character work of this extremely talented cast.
